Trinket Trade
The Trinket Trade is a chance to swap tiny treasures with other collectors and crafty folks in the community. You don't need a huge collection or any trading experience to join in.
Stop by for a quick browse or stay for a while!
What is a trinket?
Well, if it's little and you think it's neat, it's probably a trinket! Handmade things, vintage finds, tiny toys, stickers, charms, buttons, shiny things, sentimental things, weird little guys… if you think it'll bring someone joy, bring it along!
[Please leave plant cuttings and tiny plants at home but keep an eye out for our plant trade happening in October.]
Registration is FREE and only needed if you'd like one of our 12 table-top display spaces to show off your collection. Bring as many trinkets as you like, as long as they fit in your reserved space or you can carry them with you.
Come and browse, trade, or just hang out. We’ll also have a free trinket bin for anyone who doesn't have something to trade, because we want everyone to be able to be a part of the fun!
Can I sell my stuff?
This is a trade, not a market, so participants are not allowed to exchange any currency for trinkets. Business cards are welcome, but please don't sell things during the event.
Anything else I should know?
Please be mindful when selecting your trinkets that this is an all ages event. Any items that are sharp or dangerous need to be covered and labeled as such.
No weapons of any kind. We also do not condone any kind of discrimination or hate speech.
[Anyone under 16 who wants to trade must attend with a parent or guardian.]
MIX reserves the right to ask you to remove items from the swap if they are deemed unacceptable.

CRAFTERNOON:
It’s like a regular afternoon, but better!
As part of the DIY IN THE JUNCTION event on February 21st, we are opening up our studio for you to work on all of your DIY projects!
Bring in your own projects and spend a little time making progress alongside other crafters. Snacks, as well as a few crafty activities and prompts for inspiration, will be on hand.
This is a free event, so stop in for a quick hang or stick around awhile. Seating space is limited, but everyone is welcome!

BYOP: Bring Your Own Project : A casual co-working night to finally get that thing done.
Have a project, task, or lingering to-do that keeps getting pushed to the bottom of your list? BYOP is a relaxed, low-pressure co-working night where you bring your own project and work alongside others - no agenda, no expectations. Come work in the general vicinity of other people, enjoy a cozy environment, and make progress on something you’d otherwise be doing at home, alone. Whether you’re tackling admin tasks, creative work, planning, organizing, or something totally random - this space is for you.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Casual, cozy, and welcoming

Optional socializing - focus or chat, totally up to you
Light snacks and beverages will be provided - feel free to bring anything else you need to be comfortable and productive.

Step into a sacred space where creativity meets faith. In this beginner-friendly class, You’ll be guided step by step in creating a vibrant wildflower canvas with touches of mixed media and stenciling. With prayer and scripture woven in, we’ll explore the beauty of native habitats and the importance of what we plant in our lives. You’ll leave with a finished painting and a reminder of God’s renewing work in you.
No experience is needed. All supplies are provided. Just bring an open heart and a willingness to encounter God through the creative process.

Butterflies of Transformation by Renae Zanella
Step into a sacred space where creativity meets faith. In this beginner-friendly class, you'll be guided step-by-step to paint your own vibrant butterfly on a 12" x 12" stretched canvas a symbol of hope, growth, and new beginnings.
Through prayer, scripture, and painting, we'll reflect on the transforming power of God and explore how layering color and adding depth on canvas mirrors the layers of His work in our lives. While creating this butterfly we will be focusing more on the process than the outcome. With prayer and scripture woven in, we'll explore simple techniques for layering color and adding depth.
You'll leave with a finished canvas and a reminder of God's transforming work in your life.

Bloom Together: A Women’s Creative Gathering by Molly Livingston
When women come together, beautiful things happen.
This gathering is about more than art, it’s about healing, connection, and self discovery. Creating is healing. Connecting is everything.
I’ll provide all the supplies you need. Your only job is to show up, open hearted, and ready to explore your own creativity.
For $25, you’ll create your own piece of art to take home - a reflection of your soul and spirit in physical form. The theme is simple: YOU. The goal is to see yourself through a new lens, to recognize the good and the beauty within, and to have a tangible reminder that you are so special.
Come as you are. Leave with a piece of yourself.
